Dalton got to use has paint with his easel for the first time and he really enjoyed it.
I have issues. Really I do. I get so annoyed with Dalton's painting techniques. He will add a gob each color and add them right on top of each other. A. That makes a really ugly brown. B. His paint brushes get all gross with all the colors. After trying to talk him into painting in different spots so that we could see the pretty colors, I finally had to just walk away and let him be creative. Thank goodness my OCD tendencies aren't rubbing off on him.
hahaha. I so hear ya! I want to do that w/ my kids at times. He'll figure it out eventually ;-)
