.... pictureless...

I dragged my laptop to my Uncle Rick's home...loaded the 167 pictures from the last 17 days (45-50 of the above medtioned pictures are of Dalton in his carseat...you only know they are different days by what he is wearing)....and sat down to write a post...can you say withdrawals?? only to find out that their internet connection is being super lousy and my nerves right now can not handle it.

I will write the longest post you'll ever see once we are either at my brother's home or our new apartment.

We are safe and have enjoyed our visit so far. We arrived just in time to help and be a support to my family. My other uncle, John, passed away Thursday at the age of 53. It has been a very sad, bitter time for us. My uncle was a great man who had his struggles. He wasn't a perfect man, but some of his closest relatives fail to remember they, themselves, are not perfect. My Uncle John was very Christlike when dealing with forgiving people....even if they were too prideful to ask for forgiveness. It is sad to me to know the Plan of Salvation and feel the comfort that comes from the truth and know my family does feel that comfort...maybe one day they will.

I've enjoyed catching up with everyone's blogs. Thanks for your friendship.

These first few pictures were taken two weeks ago yesterday. It was Dalton's first time a church. He was such a good boy! He just slept the whole time. :O)
Mindy really likes Dalton.... :O) Sometimes she thinks I'll forget I had a baby and let her keep him.... Gotta keep an eye on her!!

For Mindy's birthday some of the crew went to Angie's for breakfast. It was so good. I think this was the first time I ate like I was nursing. :O) Everything I read told me how big of an appetite nursing mothers have and I really wasn't like that. But I woke up that morning starving and haven't stopped feeling like that.

This is where poor little Dalton has spent a lot of the last two weeks. I feel so bad plopping him into his swing but cleaning and packing has been a must and when he actually lets you put him down you just have to take it. :O) Soon he will be getting cuddled by his Gramma Susan and the rest of my family.
