I can't believe our little guy turned three this weekend.
On my birthday in March, Dalton and I were talking about what kind of party he wanted to have and we decided on a pirate party. I have to say I was a little bummed to use up such an awesome theme on a year that I was pregnant (lack of motivation!) and that we still don't have much of budget for fun parties.
That said, a pirate party we would have...until Dalton said a few days later "Mommy, I don't want pirate party. I want PINK party!". Sorry bubby, no pink party for you. 
It took a little convincing, but he was happy with his choice.
I made chocolate and white cupcakes with vanilla buttercream
and these S'mores cupcakes (I used a box chocolate cake though. TRY THEM!)

Present Time!
Even though I dropped the ball and forgot to send out invitations and had to invite friends and family in a panicked frenzy which resulted in our normal little group of family plus my very best friend and her three little boys. So the party was small and we had a lot of extra food, but everyone had a great time.
