Dalton Gets "Real" Pictures Taken! :O)

So....this might just be a picture overload for some of you.... I apologize now.... I'm sorry my baby boy is just to stinkin' cute! :O) Really....I know there are a lot of pictures, but I wanted to have them on here so family (and Mindy) can tell us which ones they would like a copy of. Enjoy!

Weekend Trip to the Lake

This last weekend we went to my parent's house for my Grandma Jane's birthday and for our anniversary. My mom watched him on Saturday and we went on our first date since Dalton was born. I'd like to say that it was easy leaving him, but there were some tears shed and eye make up retouched a couple times. ....but in the end we left and had a great time..... and Dalton had a fun time too! We FINALLY got to see the new Harry Potter movie, went to dinner, and did a little shopping. HAPPY TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY SWEETIE! Two down, Eternity to GO!!!! :O)

Sunday we had a cookout for my Grandma Jane's birthday and Dalton got a nice taste!.... Well I'm sure baby cereal wasn't as yummy but it was his first try at eating cereal!!!

Grady wanted to "hold it!" ;o) We don't know why he says "it" because when you point to him and ask who that is he says "Dalt!" or "Dalton"

A couple days ago Dalton fell asleep patiently waiting on Daddy to come home from work.


This was last night. It was day 4 of eating cereal and I could not shovel it in fast enough. I stopped once to get the cereal off his face and out of the opening of his nose (MOVING TARGET!) and he let out a loud shriek! He is really liking his cereal.



Today Dalton was in the floor playing while I unloaded the dishwasher and he started screaming. It was so funny. He was yelling at his lion! :O) The loop had gotten on his arm and he was not thrilled!

What We've Been Up To.

We went to Jed's work picnic two Fridays ago. It was fun to be with him during the day. Dalton loved hanging out with his dad. We took the stroller and the BabyBjorn. Dalton is a big fan of the carrier. I know it doesn't look like it in this picture, but he loves being able to see everything. We went to the mall a couple days ago and Dalton wore himself out in the carrier. He actually fell asleep in it...which is not him at all. He is very particular about falling asleep. :O)

We got to go to the Temple last Saturday for Elizabeth's first time going. Jed stayed out with Dalton and I got to go in for the session. (I owe you a session babe!)





On the way home from the Temple Dalton decided he was sick and tired of being in the carseat. :O)




Dalton got a visit from Gramma Susie, Grandma Jane, and Papaw Jim. Later that day Great Uncle Rick and Great Aunt Pam came to visit him too. After Jed got home we all went to TGI Friday's for dinner. We sure missed Papaw Dave but he had to work.


Dalton went in for his Well Baby Check Up
He weighed 13 lbs 5 oz 50%, 24 1/4 inches long 55%, and His head circumference was also 50%.
He got 3 shots and an oral dose.
He was a pretty sad boy for 3 days.... but he is a happy camper now!

Dalton has decided that he really likes tummy time....FINALLY. :O)




Jed got "Dalton" up on the wall. YAY! We'll put pictures of the apartment up soon.... we are waiting to buy a table and chairs, entertainment center, and pictures in our frames.


We went to Linds and Sam's for our weekly visit. We were blessed to meet Lindsay's dad and step brother. They are such sweet people.
