Last night we went to a Dayton Dragons game.
They had a LDS night.
Contrary to that cute little grin below our evening started out a little bit more like come sitcoms I've seen where the parents are about to flip out on the kid(s) and say something like "Gosh darn it we are going to this game and we are going to have a great time as family!!!", all while there are meltdowns going on and people being completely unaware of the time and money put into the activity.
I don't blame Dalton. We had an extremely busy weekend and we are all exhausted. He finally took the nap I was asking him to take and when I had to wake him to get him dressed and ready he made it very clear that he didn't care about the game. He just wanted to sleep.
We started out our night by going to Panera with our friends and their two little girls.
Dalton was so excited to get on the baseball!
All three of the kiddos on baseballs. They were about three row ahead of us, so we didn't get to see them much after this.
The boys showing their excitement!
I LOVE baseball!
Evidence that Stella and I were there.
Only one of the best families ever. :O) Somehow we lucked into having seats right beside them.
Dalton was SO excited to see Heater!
Not pictured: 4 or 5 foul balls coming really close to us, us enjoying a yummy bag of cotton candy, Dalton enjoying the Kids Zone (A really smart idea!), or Dalton playing games on the Kindle the last three innings.
