Dalton's room is the only room that I have called complete and then Dalton grew up!

I don't ever want to forget Dalton's sweet nursery.
When we found out Dalton was a boy I knew Jed would love planes in the nursery.
...and now our little pilot loves everything "horsey" and cowboy.
Dalton's room was on a major budget, and there is still more that needs to be done
so we'll call this The Cowboy phase 1
This quilt was made by Jed's aunt and was given to us as a wedding gift. I could never use it as a picnic quilt. I thought it went well with the cowboy theme. The sheets were brand new in the package. I bought them at the nickel auction for around $3.50.
Dalton is like all little boys; he wants to be just like his daddy.
We had to take the door off the hinges to bring in his bed.
This is the same dresser that was in his nursery. I just weathered it. I like it much better like this.
The little cowboy on the dresser caused quite a bit of stress for Dalton.
He woke up in the middle of the night and was screaming and was so sad. He kept talking about a monster. I had to get it down and let him play with it so that he could see it wasn't a monster.
This was my great grandma's bed. It was in my parents' house when their house burnt down. Luckily the bedroom door was shut and it really only had a lot of smoke damage.
A lot of sweat went into this bed, but I am so happy that
the boy that was named after her gets to have her bed.
"No Cowgirls Allowed"
Phase 2 will consist of a few things.
We are using the same curtains but replacing the ribbons with rope.
The recliner will go into the new nursery (when or if we get that chance)
The changing table will be moved when Dalton decides to be potty trained.
We will get a toy organizer to hold all of Dalton's toys.
