Saying Our Good-Byes in Twin Falls

Dalton is trying to get used to the car seat. Twin Falls was the "test drive" for the BIG TRIP. :O)

This is Nathan. This is Jonathan and Heidi's third little boy. He was born 5 days after Dalton. We are so excited that they will be good friends growing up.

OUR TRIP TO SHOSHONE FALLS.... It's so pretty!
We really need a few more family pictures. Look at that view!
The mommies. :O) We decided NOT to hike up the hill to only roll right back down it.
This is Uncle John. This was the first time I had ever met him. He is a great guy. Pretty funny too. :O)
Jed's oldest brother, Jonathan, filming all the important stuff.
This is Forrest, Uncle John's youngest of two. He was the best baby holder ever! He is just so shy and quiet, but he asked to hold Dalton and he just got on the couch andnsat and stared at him. It was too cute.
Uncle Brent and Branson. These boys know Uncle Brent and Uncle Jim will play with them! Branson had Brent at the end of a field playing... it was fun to watch this little 3 year having all this "power". Brent just follows him where ever he goes.
Owen with his Uncle Jim! They are BIG buddies!
Branson with his daddy!
The Falls
Look how green!
We went behind the water fall!
Beautiful!
That's us!

COUSIN PICTURES! Ok, trying to take pictures of two newborns is pretty difficult! At any given time one of the boys were crying, just finished crying, were about to start crying, or a sleep. :O) It was so funny. These two poor little babies....They kept tipping over onto each other. Sometimes Nathan would look at Dalton and we said he was trying to tell Dalton to just sit there and do what we wanted and we'd leave them alone. :O) Just look at all the different faces we got from these two little boys!

ANOTHER DAY OF PICTURE TAKING

The FOUR Grandsons.... Sorry Sam and Linds the boys are out numbering the girls....better get busy! :O)
Branson and Owen love holding Baby Nathan. I was happy they wanted to give Baby Dalton kisses and hold him too.

This is me comforting him telling him there were no more pictures
Holding his bink.
Dalton with his Great Grandma Butler. Somehow with Dalton needing to nurse and getting a little fussy we didn't get a picture with Grandpa Butler. We both even made a comment about needing to do so. :O(
Dalton with Rita, Jed's neighbor/"adopted" grandma.
LOOK AT ALL THOSE BOYS!!! Jon and Heidi have us WAY out numbered. I don't think we will catch up to them!
Back Home to Logan..... the trip really wore us out!
TO COME SOON:................. THE DRIVE TO OHIO!!!! Just so everyone knows. We were hoping to leave tomorrow (Monday June 1st) but it looks as though we will be here until Wednesday....who knows really. We are waiting for Jed's papers to be told we can move. We have been cleaning like crazy, but with a newborn there are lots and lots of breaks, so we might not have been able to leave any sooner anyway.

The happenings at the Butler residence.... :O)

Contrary to what it looks like, we've had lack of sleep the last few days... Dalton just loves to be cuddled...which is more than fine for me, except for when he wants to be cuddled in the middle of the night. I think the dark circles under our eyes tells this story oh too well. :O) These two pictures are of Dalton one week ago today.... HAPPY TWO WEEK BIRTHDAY! Just so everyone is aware, Dalton is on our bed in quite a few of these pictures...I do not leave him on there. It's normally just enough time to grab the camera by the bed and take a couple shots of him. Dalton does love to cuddle in bed with Mommy and Daddy every morning. It's become our favorite time of the day.

This is Zac, the little boy I baby sat. We get visits by him and his mommy sometimes. :O) Zac told Britany that he needed to come see me and baby Dalton or we would miss him. He is too cute. It looks like Zac is holding Dalton, but actually he is giving him a hug. :O)
He sleeps so well....in our arms... :O)
I love this little guy!!
OK... Dalton FINALLY doesn't SCREAM when you undress him! YAY!! It was so sad changing his diaper, giving him a bath, or changing his clothes....he would just look at you and cry. It sort of looks like he is mad in this picture, but he was actually just "telling us stories".
:O) This is one of my favorite faces he makes... It makes me laugh every time.
Dalton's new favorite way to hang out with Daddy. My arms aren't ling enough, but Dad is perfect.
He looked like such a little boy in this outfit.... notice the pants are rolled... we have to roll ALL his pants.
It was so hot in our apartment yesterday and the day before so Dalton hung out in some onesies...look how huge they are on him.... poor little guy. And the are Newborn size.
This was a big moment in Dalton's life. He got to wear his first OSU shirt! He was swimming in it though...guess it will fit for a while!
LOOK at THOSE EYES!
This is Dalton saying "Seriously Mom you take too many pictures."
Daddy is so excited for Dalton's first OSU shirt! Notice how Dalton just stares at his Daddy. He thinks he is pretty cool.

We had our 2 week appointment a week ago today. Here are Dalton's stats:

Height 20 in (at birth he was 19 in)...... 25th percentile

Weight 6lbs 3.5oz (at birth 6lbs 12 oz)..... I know :O( He hasn't gained enough. He did get down to 5lbs 13 oz so he is working on it.... and we have to go in often for weight checks....today he was at 6lbs 8oz. He is in the 5th percentile

Overall he looks great, he just needs to gain some weight. He has been having more than the minimal wet and dirty diapers each day, so we know he gets plenty to eat.

OH and story of the week.... So Dalton is the best at tricking us. He pees on us and himself really often. He is so good at kicking so much that the diaper wipe we put over his little wee wee normally gets pushed to the side and then he aims and gets us! It's so hard to be quick enough. Well a couple days ago Dalton got me good and Jed was getting a good laugh when all of a sudden Dalton fired this huge toot and out SHOT poo EVERYWHERE.... when I say shot, I mean shot... it was projectile! I was splattered all over my shirt and I was a good 12-15 inches away.... Needless to say I got out of diaper duty for one week! :O) I know this doesn't sound so funny but if you were there you would be on the floor laughing!

Happy Mother's Day!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! Can I just say that I feel so incredibly blessed to be called a mom! Dalton is such a blessing to us! We love him so much! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all you mommies too! And a special Happy Mother's Day to my mom and grandma! Guess what you two.... This is the LAST Mother's Day I'll miss because of living too far away!!!

My boys... :O) I LOVE IT!
Dalton's first "tummy time".... you know...he wasn't a big fan.
More tummy time
He looks up to his daddy! :O)
What a little man!
Our friends, the Lewis's, got Dalton a present and part of it was a set of three balls...this football, a baseball, and a basketball. Jed flipped when we opened it... lol... Jed even took these pictures. :O) (although he does take a fair amount of the pictures)
My first Mother's Day as a mommy. :O)
Enjoying the beautiful day!
Dalton's first stroller ride!!
Trying to catch this cute little face he makes.... this is a cute one...but it's not it.
Still not the face! This shows his personality!
We just love him!! :O)

Hope everyone enjoyed the pictures!
