Just keeping it real with this picture. :O)
This was right after lunch a couple hours before leaving for the trip.
They were resting up for a nice late night.
I told Jed to make sure that he took lots of pictures with our second camera. Of course, the battery died. So here are the pictures I took.

Returning Home:
They really enjoyed themselves.Jed and Dalton both had hot dogs, chips, and peanut M&M's and I guess Dalton kept sneaking marshmallows while Jed was roasting them. He had a couple roasted and more than he should have straight from the bag.
They had a great time. Dalton didn't let his cast slow him down. Thank goodness he got a new one on three days later. It was dirty (where was the bag I asked you to keep on it, Jed?) ;O) and smelled like campfire.
Dalton was so tired that during the fireside part he kept asking Jed if they could go back to the tent. Jed told me that he really had to work to keep him awake because he wanted Dalton to remember going to bed in his Buzz Lightyear sleeping bag in their tent. I wish I could have been there to be part of Dalton's first camping experience, but I am so grateful they got to go have a great time just and daddy and son.
