Dalton is just like his momma and LOVES to do crafts. I guess that is the majority of children, but I like to think that I had something to do with it. Every other way he plays is so physical and I have to close my eyes half the time. I don't get the way little boys play.
This is the lion we made a couple weeks ago during the day to surprise daddy for Family Home Evening.
Our lesson was about Daniel and the Lions' Den. While I told the story, Jed and Dalton held up their lions and ROARED every time I said the word "lion".
Starting at the first of the year I was going to do a little "school" work with Dalton. I prepped for a letter a week up to K and then the morning sickness came and I haven't done much of anything since then. January is almost over and I've only done the letter "A" with Dalton. FAIL. Oh well, we'll get some fun learning in before little sister comes our way.

I love art activities w/ my kids. Way to go Dalton- you're an Artist!
ReplyDeleteSuper fun! And don't worry about not doing more than A - remember that time I went to work out and I was going to keep working out? I only went one time. ;) No, but seriously - all the power to you! I'm eager to see what each of the letters represent as you go!
ReplyDeleteOh kera, thanks so much for your cyber hug, wish you still lived down the row So we could hang out and fight the blues off together. I'm thinking of you too and wishing this pregnancy treats you better soon!
