The Saturday of the 4th of July weekend we started out by going to our ward's picnic. It was so fun. I'm really glad we went. I can't believe I forgot to take pictures. We were all decked out in our red, white, and blue. Dalton really enjoyed the dogs that were there. He also loved the swings, as he always does.
That evening Jed, Dalton, and I decided that we would go on a nice bike ride. It was so beautiful on the trail. Dalton did not enjoy his new Spider Man helmet, but he L-O-V-E-D the horn that came with it. :O)
On Sunday we went to our friends' house to celebrate their little girl Wyndom's blessing day.
We enjoyed yummy food (including Cheesecake Factory's Carrot cake cheesecake) and the kids and the dads took a quick dip in the pool while the moms sat poolside.

oh Kera, that helmet is absolutely adorable, and if anyone can make a helmet look adorable, it is sweet, little Dalton. It kind of sucks when kids won't wear their safety gear. Hazel screams everytime we get on grandpa's boat because she HATES her lifevest (I don't really blame her).
ReplyDeleteI want one of those bicycle carrier things (I can't think of what they're called at the moment, haha.) for Boston so bad! They look like a fun thing to have. I'm way bummed that I was in Ohio for the whole summer and didn't come by to see you. I'm sure our boys would've loved playing together. I promise next time we're out there, it will happen!:)
ReplyDeleteDalton is so cute! I love the pictures of you all going bike riding. We love you guys! And miss you terribly!
