I got to go to a release party for the Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie on June 29th.
A couple girls in the ward have had a party for each movie and go to the midnight showing of the movie.
They do an amazing job and it's so much fun making such a big night of seeing the movie
I don't get out much and normally I love it that way. I really enjoy my little family and enjoying the simple joys.
I sure missed my two boys! They had a great time together, but I think they missed me too!
All but one of the following pictures are from Jen Kines. She gave us all permission to copy them. :O)
The name of the party was
Fire and Ice
Guests were to wear:
Warm colors if they were Team Jacob (Fire)
Cool colors if they were Team Edward (Ice)
OR
Red and White if they were Team Switzerland
This is a picture of everyone who came to the party and the foyer decorations!
This is the Team Switzerland Cheese Fondue table. Seriously, these girls are so good at this!
(Did you notice the Swiss flag table cloth?) :O)
This is the "Ice" Team Edward Chilled Sparkling Vampire Venom
This was the Team Jacob Warm Chocolate Fondue. I LOVE how they made it rugged and woodsy
As you can see, the food was delicious!
We also played Eclipse Pictionary. They even had super thoughtful gifts that were linked to the books.
So excited I have no eyes! :O)
We made it! We had much better seats than the last movie. (They were great then too.)
Because we had an hour and a half until the movie started a couple girls left and went to the nearby Wal-Mart to get water and candy to smuggle back in. $4.00 for Twizzlers?? I think not!
It was a fantastic evening! I was feeling the effects the next day when Dalton woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:00...four hours after I got home. :O) But I was mentally refreshed and so excited to be back to the normal business of being a stay-at-home momma!

What a fun thing to do! I love all the cute party ideas! What did you think of Eclipse? I loved it, but seeing it with Shane made it a little harder to get into, what with him laughing at every line. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you got to go and have that night. We all need them every once in awhile. Kera you look so good. We love you!

ReplyDeleteWOW, WOW! These girls know how to throw a party! I love a the idea and all of the decorations. It is nice to have a little girl time now and then, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteKera, you are looking really good. I don't know why you're feeling down on yourself. You are one hot mama!
Go team EDWARD! :) We miss you and your family so much Kera! I'm glad you got some girlie time in... being a stay-at-home mommy is the best, but its still nice to get out and play every now and again. They did look like they made a fun time of it, and the food tables looked yummy.
