To Oak Hill we go!

We love going to my parents' house for the weekend. 

We get spoiled with affection, love, and a little extra "me" time. 

Dalton is hardly ever sat down, so he thinks it's pretty awesome too. 

So this last visit was pretty low key, like most. 

 

Dalton played with this balloon most of the weekend.

Actually, this is his second balloon; he popped his first.

I felt a little uneasy about his choice of toy. I mean HUGE choking hazard...

But of course, he was at Grandma's house, so he got to do what he wanted.

He was under strict adult supervision though. :O)

Next we celebrated my Papaw's 88th Birthday. 

Yay Pap! 

We went to eat at Toro Loco. 

YUM.... I love their chicken chimi dinner!

See the man in the first picture...the one offering a napkin.... 

He is the man who smashed the ice cream sundae in my Pap's face.

I think he felt bad...I mean come on not a fair fight....my Pap...is...88! 

LOL

Pap was very proud of his cake. He even told his friend at church all about it. 

She is a columnist for the county newspaper and she also runs the Welsh Museum in our town.

She wants a copy of the last picture to put it in her column. 

Cool huh.... lol or just lack of important stuff going on to write about in the newspaper.

I got to love on this CrAzY hAireD  baby! 

This is Baby Grant. 

He is a sweetie.

I love him to death

But I'm still not baby hungry yet...

oh just look at the peaceful little guy.

How my heart melts! 

 

Dalton enjoyed playing with Grady. 

Everyone has really been worried that Grady will hurt Dalton (by accident of course)

My brother is almost also right beside Grady making sure he doesn't get rough...

Well that's how it was until we told Grady to take his coloring book from Dalton before he ate it.

Grady obeyed and Dalton pretty much plowed over top of him to try to get it back.

That's when everyone decided Dalton could hold his own.

HAHA. 

Please please please Dalton don't become the bully. Mommy will be so embarrassed if you thump on kids. 

 

And last but not least. Dalton found a pretty cool fort! Papaw Dave was very proud of him! 

And then we came back to Dayton.... 

Back to reality....

:O) 

But it's ok, because we'll be back on February 12th!
