The House....edition 1 of many as we get things in place and such.

Ok I feel like I can post something. My mind was consumed with all that was going on with my dad that I didn't feel like I could right anything on here. SO here goes! 

We L-O-V-E our house! It feels so special and I'm so happy in it. Without the annoying things happening with our neighbors above us, it seems like we can feel the Spirit so much stronger. 

I still can't believe we are home owners! So here are a couple pictures. These are two weeks old, so it looks so different now. We have about half our things on the walls and our kitchen is exactly how we want it....minus blinds and curtains.

We closed on our house at about 5 pm and Jed went straight over to work on putting an attic ladder in. We didn't want to move in and then cut a hole in the ceiling with all that junk getting onto everything. So Jed and our friend Nathan worked on it. They also had to move the pretty hallway light about a foot over. Then Jed vacuumed and shampooed the carpet. He was there until 5:30 a.m! My parents and grandparents were coming up the next day to help move/watch Dalton and we needed the floors dry but 10 am. Jed is pretty much my hero! :O) So this was his first project. Now the ladder is in place....there isn't any trim on it and the ladder isn't painted, but it's in and all our storage stuff is out of sight!

Right before they left, Jed and I ran to Lowe's to get pegs for the kitchen cabinets. The shelves weren't in place yet. That was Jed's second home owner job. :O) He loves this! :O)
