Getting Ready for Dalton! :O)

Now that I'm finished with school, my nesting has come in affect flow force. :O) Our apartment is nice and clean, I've get our menu set up until March, and I've begun crafting for little Dalton's nursery. Since we aren't setting up a nursery until we move to Ohio, it's tough to feel prepare for the little guy. Jed's been a sweet hubby about the situation and knows that it's killing me, so we went to Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and the DI to get some stuff for me to work on. Here's what I've done so far. The above picture is of Dalton's bedding with his wooden letters.

This is a close up of his name and (of course) his airplane that I painted with Jed's help in deciding which colors to use for which parts.
The is a close up of the "O". Jed didn't like the "bow". I told him it's not a bow it's just ribbon tied in a knot...and then he was ok with it. :O)

This shadow box is from the DI it was 75 cents! It was a really light wood with a picture of a sunflower. We don't know what we are putting in there yet.
The before.... another DI frame for 75 cents
The after! :O) It's a little busy, but I like it.

AND this is little Dalton as of today! He's getting BIG! :O) He found my ribs a couple days ago and it must be really comfy because my right ribs haven't been in peace since! :O) We are getting SO excited! 30 weeks DOWN!!!! 10 to go!

  3. oh Kera, you are too cute. I love all the little crafty things that you have done. I'm dying to hang some letters above baby girl's crib... but we don't have a name yet so that really puts a kink in my plans. I told Taylor that we need to decide ASAP so that I can finish decorating the nursery.
